It is characterized as a robust economic ecosystem, with a total area of 7,596 hectares, composed of two reserves, the Viana Industrial Reserve and the Uala Agroindustrial Reserve. The Viana industrial reserve occupies an area of 4,718 hectares, with 157 industrial units, dominated by food processing and other industries transformers. The Uala reserve covers an area of 2,878 hectares and requires development.
It has a privileged location, in a strategic region for the companies that operate from there. It borders the future New Luanda International Airport, which will be the largest airport in the country and one of the largest in Africa, with capacity for around 13 million passengers per year. The Port of Luanda, another important infrastructure, is located 13 km from the ZEE. Within the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone there is a commercial hub, housing projects, services and other investments, it is an area with plenty of resources to boost the Angolan economy.
Its main objective is to promote national production, attract private investment (national and foreign), create jobs and contribute to the diversification of the Angolan economy.
